The Galaxy Book4 Edge is one of Samsung’s newest Galaxy Book laptops, offering AI features, a powerful processor, a 3K AMOLED screen, and long battery life. It isn’t designed for gaming, but to serve as a portable, powerful productivity laptop.
Usually you have to pay more for its mix of features, power, and convenience, but right now, you can get Book4 Edge with a 14-inch screen, Snapdragon X Elite 3.4Ghz processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB of storage for $799.99, down from $1,349.99. This is the lowest price it has reached since its release in Feburary 2024.
There are two ways you can look at this laptop: As a great laptop for productivity at a great price, or as pretty good laptop with a disappointing AI experience. Copilot+ PC laptops were hyped up at launch, but ended up falling sort of the initial promises, even experiencing a recall during their launch. However, I don’t think some bad press about AI should keep you away from Copilot+ PCs. As long as the hardware is good, the AI support will keep improving with new features and updates.
The Galaxy Book4 Edge comes with a Snapdragon X Elite 3.4GHz, a high-performing processor for users who need to multitask or create multimedia. It has 16BG of RAM and 512GB of storage. The screen is a 14-inch touchscreen AMOLED display with 2,880×1,800 pixels of resolution. The battery gives you an impressive 22 hours and 44 minutes of run time, according to PCMag’s review.
