Two things are happening this fall: First, Amazon is having its October Prime Day next weel on Oct. 8 and 9. Second, I’ve been sneezing a lot. Like, a lot. I’ve been sneezing more than I do in the spring, that’s for sure, and I’m sick of it. I have fall allergies, so I’ve been looking into getting a new air purifier—which leads me back to that first autumnal event I mentioned. Normally $189.99, it’s just $159.99 for the shopping holiday.. What I like about this one is its compact size: 15.6 inches in diameter, 8.5 inches in width, and just under 20 inches in height. My old air purifier, which I have soured on lately, is much larger than that, so in addition to being ineffective, it’s massive. The Levoit, though, is much smaller and can clean the air in up to 1,800 square feet.
It’s designed specially for people with allergies, too, clearing the air of pollen, pet hair, dander, and dust. It’s got two air inlets for quicker intake, with a 99.97% filtration efficiency. Plus, it links to a phone app or your smart home device.
What I really like about the Levoit air purifier is its washable filters. The brand makes their filters easy to clean with water, which, as a lazy person, I appreciate.
This is the Levoit’s lowest price ever
Given that Prime Day prices aren’t always as good as they seem, it’s important to double-check each deal. I headed over to CamelCamelCamel, the best website for tracking price changes across online product listings, to see what this thing usually costs. The current $159.99 deal is the lowest price the Levoit machine has ever been listed for.
Last year, it was $317.28 in August and its average price since then has sat around $182, just below the listing price Amazon says the sale is reduced from.
